Chocolatey Tart....Indeed...

Our host this week is Dharmagirl of Bliss: Towards a Delicious Life, who chose Dorie's tarte noire - basically, a rich chocolate tart with a pie crust filled with chocolate, cream and butter. I decided to make a chocolate short crust version, and it turned out wonderful. I used the spray Pam with the added flour to prepare the pan. It came right out!
This ganache filled tart looks so smooth you could skate on it....ha, ha! It is super rich and delicious. Definitely need a side a whip topping and a large glass of milk. For this recipe check out Dorie's book "Baking from my Home to Yours" or go to Darmagirls website. You will love it!
We give this 5 glasses of milk,
for chocolatey goodness!

This is perfect.
I have been looking for something chocolaty and special, to bake for a friend's birthday. This one looks delicious. I hope mine comes out as beautiful as yours....I'll try my best!

You took the word "skate" right out of my mouth. I agree - this looks great! So smooth... I'm glad you enjoyed it (so simple to make) and another chocolate crust (that I need to try next time). Bravo!

Hey there,

I just came across your blog while searching for funny dog pictures. For some reason it won't let me post a comment on the actual post I came across!

BTW love the look of your baking!!

I am involved in a group who are creating websites for funny pet & baby photos. Is there any chance we could use your dog with sunglasses photo for our site?

Kind Regards,
