Mocha Marble Bundt Cake

This week's Tuesday With Dorie recipe is the Mocha Walnut Marble Bundt Cake. Erin of When in Doubt…Leave it at 350 (her blog name contains such good baking advice!) chose the cake for us to bake this week. Her blog post will have the recipe, or you can find it on pages 180 and 181 of the book Baking: From My Home to Yours by Dorie Greenspan.

This cake is moist and thick. It tasted like a Marbled Cake Donut. Soft on the inside a little crisp on the outside. Perfect for a cake that you need to take on the road, and a great cake for a brunch. Actually no icing needed if you didn't want to take the time to add it. Just sift some powder sugar over it, and your done! I would definitely make this again perhaps in my mini bundt pans. So, go give a try!

We give this 4 glasses of milk,
for utter goodness!

Now I'm wishing I would have done the bundt - yours looks spectacular (I wimped out with loaves)! I agree - this was my favorite cake (or loaf)! Donut is a GREAT comparison!
