Mums the Word......

Clayton Family Farm
School has begun,
and it's mum season in New England.
Last year I picked up some great mums at the supermarket,
And this year I'm hooked on some more!!
They're only $3.50 for an 8" pot...
So who wouldn't be, right???

You can find Mums popping up all over.....
And today they're popping up in my garden!!

The ones from last year are wonderful.

Such a bargain for a perennial!

I love this one....

And of course the gold ones are grand!
To see what others are hooked on

Oh how I love mums! I was born in November and, since they're the flower of that month, I love the deep bronze colors. Perfect for fall! Thanks so much for featuring these beautiful photographs!

I love mums too!!! I planted some years ago and have LOVED having them in my garden every year:)

Love the colors that you had available in the photograph. And yes, that is a GREAT price:)

I also like mums. It is the first sign of fall and they come in some beautiful colors!

I've been spying the big potted mums at the nurseries the last few days but they get picked over fast and realistically they will only last here about 3-4 weeks. I doubt if I will spend the cash on a pair of big ones this year but the thought of them on my step makes me swooooon.

Mums add so much color to the flower garden at this time of the year. I love mums as well. I bought some hardy mums a couple of years ago, and they keep on coming back, and they are huge...what a bargain!!!
