These Chips are Fat Free......

I'm hooked on these, are you too?

If you have been sent here by Julia at Hooked on Houses or FiFi with Fashionable Fridays, then you probably are!

Both sites are always commenting on design and color....

I must admit, I'm a color chip addict, Totally Hooked....

Is there a 12 step program for that?

I would love to work in one of these paint departments, helping people come up with the right choice. And mixing all those amazing colors! And reading all those crazy names for colors that they come up with.

But, the fact is, I may have a hard time lugging around a few of these 5 gallon buckets.

For those of you trying to decide on a color and need something bigger than a chip, Home Depot now does small samples of the colors you choose for about $4.
I could probably get easily addicted to this too!

For now, I'll just have to take all my chips and keep recycling them into some wonderful creation. Like these bookmarks or some other scrapbook project I have going.

I love your bookmarks! I have a box full of paint chips I've collected over the years. My kids love to pick up a few when we're at the store; we'll have to make bookmarks too.
You might like this paint chip craft. I've had it bookmarked for a while http://tinyurl.com/4dycj8

Hee. I was hoping for potato chips (midnight munchies...not acting on it though!)

Paint chips certainly come in a cool second!

I like the idea for bookmarks... sooo much better than a random scrap piece of paper I always seem to use.

I just love the idea of making a couple of bookmarks! And I will collect some on my next visit to Home Depot for sure..., the names of all the colors amuses me too. Is that a job I could apply for, "color namer"? How fun would that be.

I never contemplated getting a small can to make sure I know what I like! I used to work for a lady who had a great eye - she always told me to make sure the paint had "grey" in it...I've stuck to that, and been successful!

I am completely hooked on color! (No totally white house for me.) Love the idea of making bookmarks out of the paint chip strips -- brilliant!

I have the big fan books of colors from Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore -- I can sit and read them like they are books! And have you sent for the free color brochures from Farrow and Ball? Worth it for the names alone... "Dead Salmon" and other hilarious names. gorgeous colors, too!

Thanks for the fun post ... Cass

It IS really hard not to go anywhere that has paint chips....without picking some up - even if there is no project in the future! My daughter has started this habbit too...she makes playing cards out of them - who knew!???
Thanks for a good chuckle!

I love, love, love your bookmark idea. I as well would have to stand tall to confess I too am a 'paint chip a'holic'. You do not walk this path alone!

My daughter is hooked on paint chips! She has to pick some up every time we go to the hardware store.

Those bookmarks are awesome!
