Snowy Morning?...How about Banana Bread French Toast!

The snow is upon us and the schools are closed. I think 20 inches overall in the last day. It is light and fluffy, so it is not snowman worthy, it doesn't want to pack well. Needless to say, it is another day of staying in and getting the oven a baking. I decided to make my delicious banana bread. I didn't have plain yogurt, so I added in Strawberry-Banana, that is why you see the red spots. It added a touch of sweetness.

Here they are rising in the oven this cold morning. This recipe makes 5 small loaves or 2 regular size. I myself, make the smaller loaves all the time. For this mornings breakfast, I decided to make Banana Bread French Toast! It is simple and easy.....

Just slice the bread in 1/2 inch slices, and dip in a (1 egg,1/4 c. milk , little bit of vanilla) mixture on both sides, just like you would regular French Toast. Brown on both sides.

Serve with a little maple syrup and sliced bananas. You will be sure to love it! Much more fancier than the usual.....
